Time Square and Central Park

Mindy preferred to be carried.

Exploring NYC

For $3.20 and a 15 minute bus ride you can go from our place at Port Imperial thru the Lincoln Tunnel to the Port Authority Bus Station in Manhattan on 8th Avenue and 42nd Street.  A quick walk to Broadway and you're in the heart of tourist central...TIME SQUARE

Street actors are everywhere as are street vendors, ice cream trucks, and tourists.

Central Park

A straight shot up Broadway and you run directly into Central Park.  It was a beautiful day so horse drawn carriages, bicycles, joggers, and kids were everywhere.

Whatever form of transportation you like....you'll find it for rent in or around central park.

The park is home to numerous baseball fields, playgrounds, a merry-go-round and even picnic areas.

The flowers and grass in the park are healthy and lush.

Renting a row boat and paddling around is a very common thing to do in the park,

and as always...a self portrait.
