Flea Market in the City
In follow up to my post last week on the Brooklyn Flea Market...this week we headed into the city on the NY Waterways Ferry to explore another flea market found in a parking ramp on West 25th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue.
See Mindy's little head poking out of the puppy purse?!
The Garage Antique Flea Market offered a series of "antique" dealers that spread their goods over two levels of a small-ish garage.
We didn't find anything we had to have, but the people watching was outstanding.
After two loops around the garage (one clockwise and the other counter clockwise) as I'd hate to miss anything...haha!...
we decided to grab a slice of pizza at 2 Bros. Pizza where you can get a gigantic slice of cheese pizza for $1 or a slice of pepperoni pizza for $1.50
See Mindy waiting patiently for a taste?! Everyone loved Mindy. We were stopped a dozen times by people wanting to engage with Mindy.

We decided to walk straight west on 25th toward Chelsea Piers...on the way we found this great wall mural right under High Line the new garden like walkway in NYC.
Chelsea Piers is a huge sports complex comprised of four piers right on the Hudson River in Manhattan. There is bowling, a golf range, ice rink, skateboard park, athletic center, soccer fields, cruising ships, and so on. It's a little on the commercial side and appears to host many birthday parties, company events, bachelor parties, and the like.
I've shown lots of pictures of NYC from New Jersey. I thought you may like to see New Jersey from New York. Our condo is dead center in the photo...the low rise red/tan brick building. The few tall buildings that you see are apartments and condos on top of the palisades.
