Macy's 4th of July on the Hudson

Happy 4th of July!

Mike and I were thrilled that Kristen, Andrew and Courtney were able to join us over the 4th of July to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary which was on June 17th.
We decided to have a small gathering on the 4th.

It was so much fun eating burgers and brats and watching the fireworks over the Hudson from our terrace.

 Getting close to show time...

The show was put to music....honk, honk!

On Friday the 5th we extended the celebration to dinner at Chez Josephine on 42nd street which we highly recommend...it was great food, ambiance, and a piano player that set the Broadway musical feel that prepared us for the main event.....The Book of Morman at the Eugene O'Neill Theater

Mike, Kristen and Courtney in line prior to going into the show...

After the show we walked to Time Square...

The crowd looks like New Years Eve, but this is a typical holiday weekend in the city at Time Square.

The July 4th weekend had to be one of the hottest weekends of the year.  One morning Courtney, Mike and I strolled to the top of the palisades where the view of NYC is amazing

On Saturday night we took the Ferry back into the city for dinner at Odeon which is a great restaurant in Tribeca.  Angela manages one of the three restaurants operated under the same ownership.  Her restaurant is Café Cluny.

Sunday was a day to bask in the sun prior to everyone catching their flights home...

Happy 4th
