Goodbye 2013....Hello 2014
We were lucky enough to not have to leave the warmth of our condo to enjoy the New Years Eve celebration in Time Square. Our condo is across from Midtown Manhattan approx. 1.5 miles from time square and between the refection of the Ball on the buildings and the Fireworks that were set off to welcome the New Year we were able to hear and see just enough.
The white light in the center of the picture is the Ball prior to midnight and its reflection off of the building. The row of lights in the foreground are the knee high sidewalk lights on the terrace of our condo.
From here it looked like the city was exploding, but it was just the fireworks setoff in Time Square at the stroke of twelve.
